Support Humanitarian Initiatives

Youth and women livelihoods training in Kenya

Refugee communities across Kenya — including Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei Integrated Settlement — are home to hundreds of thousands of displaced people from more than 20 countries. Refugee youth and women in Kenya face repeated ration cuts, restricted employment, and the same urgent need for stable income. What is not in short supply is ambition. What is missing is structured, sustained support.

Your gift to Support Humanitarian Initiatives goes directly to AgeWatch Futures' on-the-ground work: agribusiness and digital skills cohorts, Village Savings & Loan Associations, and six-month mentorship for graduates — the full arc from first lesson to first sale. Donations are allocated within 48 hours to the most active need: a cohort enrolment, a starter kit, or a mentor's travel to reach an outlying block.

$60 enrols one person in a VSLA savings group. $200 sponsors a complete 12-week livelihood cohort seat — training, materials, starter inputs, and market-day escort included. Every donor who requests an update receives a personal note from our field team, not a mass newsletter.

$60 VSLA seat · $200 full cohort · any amount welcomed
