VSLA Savings Group

Fund the formation and first twelve months of a Village Savings and Loan Association — a community-led savings circle where members contribute weekly, take small loans from the pool, and share the accumulated fund at cycle end.

$60 enrols one participant in a VSLA for a full savings cycle: facilitation, training materials, the group ledger, and accountability check-ins. Each VSLA has 15 to 25 members — meaning a $900 contribution launches an entire group.

Grace joined a VSLA not because she had savings but because she wanted the discipline of saving. Six months later she took a small loan, enrolled in the agribusiness cohort, and today chairs her VSLA group — mentoring its newest members.
