Destitute Elder Subsidy Fund

Our nurses have flagged eleven elders across three counties who cannot contribute any care fee at all — isolated, malnourished, and without family support. Without a subsidy, they cannot access day-care services.

$60 covers one full month of subsidised day-care for one destitute elder: group sessions, a hot meal at each session, basic health monitoring, and the human companionship that is as protective as medication for older people living alone.

These are the elders who fall between every other programme — too poor for fee-based services, too isolated for family support. Your gift is the only net left.
