County Day-Care Expansion

Two counties have formally requested AgeWatch day-care services. We have the model, the staff, and the community relationships. What is needed is anchor funding to open the doors — reaching approximately 200 additional elders in each county.

A $25000 anchor gift covers the first year of county day-care operations: space rental or renovation, transport for elders, nutrition, caregiver salaries, and nurse oversight. After the first year, family fees and county health support sustain the service.

Any amount given to this fund moves the needle. Even $500 covers a month of transport for a cluster of elders — bringing them from isolation into the warmth of a day-care session.
