We publish critical appeals when nurses flag destitution during home visits, when community outreach calendars lack transport fuel, when a county asks us to open day-care services faster than fee income alone allows, or when a Futures cohort is ready to launch but starter kits for graduates are unfunded.

How it works
A nurse, coordinator, or community scout identifies a critical need — a destitute elder, a supply shortage, or a cohort gap — and flags it to our programme team with supporting documentation.
We verify the need, set a funding target, and publish the appeal here and to our donor email list — with the specific cost, programme link, and what happens if the target is met.
Donations received against the appeal are allocated within 48 hours. If an appeal is overfunded, the surplus goes to the next most urgent need or to our general subsidy pool — and donors are notified.
Donors who request it receive a brief update when the need is met — what happened, who benefited, and what came next. No jargon. No mass mailout. A direct note from the team.
